Technology

Adax Norwegian heating panels are Norwegian not only in their name: this type of heating solution is used in a large part of Scandinavian households. They have been designed for fully independent heating and also function perfectly as supplemental heating. The panels can be used anywhere with access to electricity.

Although the various types differ in their appearance and controls, all Adax products share a number of characteristics.

The heating technology

The heating panels contain no fans and operate using convection. The cool air enters the device on the bottom, passes through the heating element, and leaves after it has been warmed up. As soon as the temperature has reached the desired temperature, the device turns off, after which it consumes electricity during approximately a third of the heating period.

The heating element is a special alloy located in a ceramic casing, which has a low temperature and does not glow, meaning it has a virtually endless lifetime.

Silent operation and precise thermostat

As the panels have no moving parts, their operation is practically silent. 

All Adax heating panels are equipped with processor-controlled thermostats that react to temperature changes of 0.5 degrees. This ensures that the room will never be over- or under-heated, as the panel precisely maintains the set temperature to help conserve energy.

Installation and first use

The installation and first use of the heating panel does not require a professional and can be quickly and easily performed by anyone in their own homes. Mount the bracket on the wall using 4 screws, hang the heating panel, connect the factory-provided plug to a wall outlet, and that’s it – the panel is ready to use.

Mount the panel on a vertical wall surface about 10-20 cm from the floor. Installing the panel in a higher position leads to a drop in efficiency! If possible, the panel should be mounted under a window or, if this is not possible, in any other part of the room. The panels work correctly only in a horizontal position. It is PROHIBITED to mount the panel vertically!

5-year factory replacement warranty

The manufacturer provides a comprehensive 5-year replacement warranty for its products.

This means that if the heating panel breaks down during the warranty period, you can receive a new one delivered to your home within 3 workdays, so you can feel safe in even the coldest winter months.

If you would like access to more options, simply connect the panel to your WiFi network and use the smartphone app. Since all heating panels have an integrated WiFi receiver, you do not need a separate central unit for connecting to the WiFi and using the control function.

Adax Compact Wifi elektromos fűtőpanel

Adax Wifi Compact is the newest version of and the alternative to the previous Adax Wifi model.

Although control and operation have not been affected, the heating panel has become significantly shorter, making it an ideal heating solution for locations where longer models don’t fit. It has also retained the clean design of its highly successful predecessor, and the smartphone control is also provided using the same app. 

Shorter design, increased performance

Compact’s essence and main part is the same ceramic core, metal alloy heating element as in other Adax models. However, the model boasts a different internal design, which allows the heating element with the same performance to be fit in a much shorter place, reducing the external dimensions of the panel. The shorter design has increased the panel’s height to 42 cm, which is still quite a small size.

Thanks to the new internal design, the model is capable of housing a heating element with greater performance: the Adax Wifi Compact is also available with a power of 2500 W.

Clean design in two colours

Adax Wifi Compact heating panel is characterised by a minimalistic design devoid of any large openings or other disturbing parts. The warm air outlets are hidden on the top of the panel, allowing the clean form to realise its full potential.

These colours are made custom. Please allow for a longer delivery time (of no more than 3-5 weeks) in case of special colours. The 14-day return guarantee does not apply to these colours.

Digital programmable thermostat

As Adax Neo has an integrated thermostat with a digital display, no separate thermostat has to be installed.

The heating panel is ready to heat your room as soon as you install it and turn it on. The temperature can be set using the buttons on the side of the panel. The device keeps the set temperature by turning off and on.

The thermostat also has the following additional functions:

Famn uses the same rear ventilation openings as other Adax models, which are supplemented with a longitudinal opening along the front of the panel. This allows more hot air to exit the panel in the same amount of time, further improving the thermal comfort of the room and reducing the time it takes to heat it up.

Adax Eco Norwegian electric heating panel is the perfect blend of clean design and simple operation. The rotary electric thermostat without a digital display is the right choice for you if you don’t want to program and use the remote control function for your electric heating and need only simplicity and fast operation.

However, this does not mean you need to make any compromises when it comes to appearance, as the Adax Eco heating panel also uses the design typical of other Adax models, ensuring it is a perfect match for all interiors.

Adax Eco’s metal front is characterised by a minimalistic design devoid of any large openings or other disturbing parts. The warm air outlets are hidden on the back of the panel, allowing the clean form to realise its full potential.

Simple operation

As Adax Eco has an integrated thermostat, no separate thermostat has to be installed. The heating panel is ready to heat your room as soon as you install it and turn it on.

The side of the panel houses an on/off switch and a rotary knob. After turning the device on, set the desired temperature using the rotary control. And that’s it – there are no other steps for the first use or setting up the device. The heating panel will then periodically turn off and on to maintain the desired set temperature.

The thermostat also has the following additional functions:

  • Reduced night-time temperature
  • Daily/weekly programs
  • Child lock
  • Detection of open windows

Feet for electric heating panels.

The feet are not part of the heating panels and have to be purchased separately. When using feet, don’t forget that a heating panel is sized to heat the air in a given room and should not be used in larger rooms!

Guarantee

5-year replacement warranty

The manufacturer provides a 5-year replacement warranty for all Adax electric heating panels. The guarantee is comprehensive and covers all parts, on condition that the panel was used as intended.

The guarantee and warranty are valid with the receipt received for the purchase of the panel, and no separate guarantee slip is provided.

We will immediately replace the product in case of any defects that occur in the 5 years from the time of purchase. There won’t be any lengthy product inspections if you choose Adax: if it doesn’t work, we’ll provide you with a new one.

Reporting problems

If you encounter any problems, please contact us using the following phone number or email address. If you send us an email, please also attach the receipt you received for your purchase.

Replacement in person

You can also bring your faulty heating panel to our showrooms in Budapest or Tata, where we can provide you with a new, faultless product. In this case, we ask you to contact us by phone or email in advance!

  • Tata showroom address: 2890 Tata, Környei u. 24.

Replacement by courier

If you can’t return the heating panel in person, you can also have a new one delivered by courier. However, you will be required to pay a separate fee for the replacement process. The courier will bring you the new panel and return the old one to us. The old, faulty panel has to be packaged suitably for shipping! You don’t have to use the original packaging, but you do have to package it somehow.

The cost for replacement by courier service: HUF 4000/panel. You can pay at the courier as a payment on delivery (with cash or credit card).

Guarantee Plus service

In addition to the 5-year guarantee period provided by the manufacturer, you can also purchase a +3 year repair guarantee period for your Adax heating panel. The above conditions apply to this 3-year period. In this case, our service shop will examine the product and provide repairs free of charge or, if repair is not possible, replace the device.

The fee for the extra +3-year repair guarantee period: HUF 8000/panel.

Repairs after the guarantee period expired
